Decided to have lunch at this Nasi Padang stall/shop near Lebuh Ampang since been thinking of its pegedil with roasted chicken bits. Have not popped by for quite a while.........It was on my way to Mesjid Jame' anyway, for Friday mass prayers.
It was divine....! Had pegedil (potato ball), tempeh (fermented soy beans) goreng (fried), thinly sliced fried potato (like crisps), kuah lemak tempoyak (fermented durian paste) infused with lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves, fresh tempoyak, sauteed brinjal sprinkled with fresh chilli paste and fried egg. The kuah lemak tempoyak was very thick and sinful but delightful...a must try for you out there! Dont forget the pegedil as I can only find this pegedil with roasted chicken bits only at this stall in Kuala Lumpur.
They also serve "sup tulang" here....But decided against having one bowl today; may be during my next visit. Definitely feel energized now!
