One month

Hajar turned one month old today.....
She's gained 1 kg and grown taller by 2 cm.
She still has slight jaundice..(bilirubin count of 11.2) - apparently she has prolonged jaundice which is quite common amongst fully-breast fed babies..
Need to go back to the hospital this weekend for another blood count test....

    kejap aje dah sebulan eh? i had the same experience pertaining to jaundice. my boy used to be fully breast-fed and mmg jaundice sampai more than a month. eventho the paed said it was normal, it scared the he** out of me and my husband. i stopped all jamu and air akar kayu and the jaundice kurang sikit. despite that, he gained 1.5 kg each month for the first 2 months!

    anyway, happy one month old hajar!

    Oh one month already! How timje flies. Breat feeding is still the best. Jaundice? Some say expose baby to some sunshine by the window perhaps..but pleeez, doc knows best. Hope she gets better soon.

    Hope both mommy & baby are doing fine. Hopefully the jaundice would subside soon....
