Hello, I came across your comment on the Eating Asia blog. I am currently located in Singapore, and am looking to take a quick 2 day trip somewhere in Malaysia. I would like to travel by bus or train, and in my searches came across Muar. Could you offer any insight into staying in Muar? I'm not looking for any major attractions, I would just like to experience a Malaysian town, get some good food and maybe find some markets to peruse. If you don't think Muar is a good destination for this, can you make any recommendations? Any help is greatly appreciated!
