Ib's turning 6 mid next month and he has demanded a Ferrari/F1 cake. I don't remember being so vocal voicing opinions when I was that age...Dad has a different idea though....I quite like the 3D cakes which a fellow blogger makes and had made contact with her to order one...Whaddaya know...he still wants the cake like Yusof's! It is his birthday after all..so I have decided to let him have what Yusof had when he turned 6. Mmm...perhaps dad is trying to re-live his dream through Ib? LOL! I have ordered from her cupcakes with F1 flags as the topping decor instead, but have not confirmed the date yet ( Flowerinthedesert - I will soon!)
We don't usually have a big birthday bash for our kids - it's always been private affairs amongst us (not even close & extended families are invited). Ib wanted one last year so we organized one for his very very close friends (about 6-8 of them). We have not decided what to do this year...My be a picnic? Perhaps let his school organize one for him and we just supply the food and drinks...
We'll see.....
